Roshan Afghanistan University (RAU) began its activities in December 2022 as a community-based, independent, non-affiliated, non-political, and nonprofit educational institution. In line with its mission, students admitted to RAU’s bachelor’s and master’s programs study free of tuition from the beginning to the completion of their academic programs, made possible through the commitment and voluntary support of academic and administrative colleagues.
Unfortunately, individuals and organizations with unclear identities or questionable educational activities may use similar names, misleading institutional identities, or unverified academic claims to exploit the educational needs of people in Afghanistan, particularly women and girls, for financial gain or personal promotion. Roshan Afghanistan University considers such practices unethical, unprofessional, and contrary to the principles of responsible education.
Prospective students are strongly advised to verify the identity, legitimacy, and actual activities of any educational institution before submitting an application, sharing personal documents or information, or making any payment.

No individual or organization is authorized to request payment from students or applicants using the name, logo, or any other element of the visual identity of Roshan Afghanistan University.
If anyone requests money from you under the name of Roshan Afghanistan University, please report the matter immediately through the University’s official email or WhatsApp. RAU accepts no responsibility for payments, financial transactions, or arrangements made outside its official channels and without its authorization.
Admission and Educational Capacity
Admission to RAU’s academic programs is based on the academic and educational capacity of the University. RAU prioritizes the quality of education over the quantity of admissions.
Applicants who are unable to secure admission to a bachelor’s or master’s program may benefit from the University’s short-term educational programs offered through the Center for Language Education and Skills Development.
